Product Information

48 mm vs the term 2 inches

In the box-sealing tape market, 48 mm wide tape is often called “2-inch tape”, but in exact numbers, a full 2 inches equals 50.8 mm. So this product uses 48 mm as the main measurement. If you need to use it with a tool that requires an exact width, please check the mm size before ordering.

How to check the size before buying

1. Measure the width of your old tape or the slot of your tool in mm.
2. Compare it with this product's width of 48 mm.
3. If your tool gives the size in inches, check the manual or the supported width range before ordering.
4. Test sticking it on your actual packaging before using it in large amounts.

Estimating the number of rolls from the 20-yard length

20 yards converts to 18.288 m per roll. This number comes from unit conversion. The actual usable length might be less due to cutting, folding the ends, re-taping, and the leftover bit at the end of the roll.

1. Measure the tape length used per box based on how you actually seal it.
2. Multiply by the number of boxes to find the total length.
3. Divide the total length by 18.288 m, then round up to get the full number of rolls.
4. Add a little extra depending on how you pack and your actual use.
